Who is “Rich OG”

1. What’s the story behind your stage name, “Rich OG”?

It just came to me over time. Like everything I do it’s rooted in experience and truth so when u think of the luxurious things of life u think of RICH and when u think of we’ll versed things in life you think of a COACH OR A OG! Hence the name RICH OG

2. If you could collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

James Brown

3. How do you balance your roles as a rapper and entrepreneur?

Since time is an illusion it’s always time to do both. It’s 24 hrs in a day so I’m not gonna write a song for longer than 3 hours then rehearse it for 3 hours then record it in a hour and the rest of the day is for businesses outside of music!

4. What’s the most unexpected inspiration you’ve drawn from for your music?

Sitting with major artists and being blessed with the game that they bestowed upon me.

5. Can you share a behind-the-scenes moment from one of your music videos that fans might not know about?

Yea, in my music video called LIFE OF A MOBSTER the mansion I was walking around in wasn’t a mansion at all… it was actually a CASTLE and listed on the real estate paperwork as a real CASTLE!

6. What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career, and did it pay off?

My biggest risk was moving to Los Angeles 13 years ago

And it surely paid off and it still paying off!

7. How do you define success, both personally and professionally?

Success is rooted in perception and facts.

That goes for all levels. I think a person that is honest has conquered the ground work for success.

8. What advice would you give to aspiring rappers looking to break into the industry?

Stay focused, be resilient, invest in yourself!

9. If you weren’t a rapper, what career path do you think you would have pursued?

10. What’s next for Rich OG? Any upcoming projects or ventures you’re excited about?

Yes I’m slated to film 4 more music videos before the 4th of July and release 10 more songs before the forth of July. Follow me on ig @richoglife for all the lates waves! Also, me and my cousin, Cadillac Jr. Are working on a group project right now it’s fire fire fire!!
