So tell us about how you came about the idea of creating your booking platform.
I was getting shows from a label thats under Sony Records they offered me a single deal when I was looking for distribution I turned them down. A few years later I was still receiving emails about shows and the music scene was talking off here so I reached out to the label and got their permission and started my booking company
What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
I wanted to create something great that will last and make sure that my kids don't see the same struggles I did.
How did you come up with the name for your company?
The name was easy I didn't want to be tied directly to no neighborhood so I said Star City Bookings because it's for everyone.
Do you build a successful customer base and what works for you?
I stay on social media networking looking for new artists I reach out send them a list of upcoming events and we go from there
How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?
I market through social media and its worked so far
How many hours a day do you work on average?
Describe/outline your typical day.
I honestly can't say how many hours because any free time I have im working I can be at my job on break I'm working
Has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
It's had a positive impact on my family it's given us something to look forward to something to strive for even the kids be trying to help
Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?
No I do not nothing comes easy you have to believe in yourself and put in the workTo make your dream reality.
What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
I booked a show for a girl from Richmond Virginia on a California tour 2 months later she got a spot on Centrics TV show called My Current Situation Atlanta.
Last question, how do you define success?
I'm successful because im able to wake up and do what I love and in the process help others do what they love and experience things they never thought possible.
