Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Muiz Olatunbosun. I’m an A&R, Music Marketer and Serial Entrepreneur from Nigeria, Africa.
How did you get introduced into the game?
I have been working directly with a professional music business mogul Javoe Rokour. Founder of Rôkourding Academy, Money4Artist and Rôkour Records.
It has been two years working with these brands and I have learned a lot from Javoe Rokour and his team of dedicated music marketers. Javoe has years of experience within the music industry. He’s not just a boss to me, but much more than that; a mentor and a friend. Javoe teaches me the music industry’s gems, strategies, communications, how to close a deals and other key skills needed to become successful in the music industry.
Even at times when I feel like giving up, Javoe and his team motivate and inspire me to press forward and continue pursuing my dreams. Javoe always tells me, Ola : “Be real, honest and stay loyal.” I stick to his words. A day has never come by when I regret working with Javoe and his team. He is a “goal getter” who never gave up.
What are you currently working on?
Currently, I’m an A&R at Organic Music Distro. My job is signing up artists for free distribution and finding promising new talent to offer distribution deals to. Organic Music Distro an American Music Distribution Company that offers FREE distribution to ALL ARTISTS ACROSS THE GLOBE. No other distribution company does that! The words say it all, giving artists access to distribute songs to all digital platforms for FREE is very important especially in Africa.

What's some of your goals, and how are you helping artists succeed?
One of my biggest goals is to serve as a role model. I want to be a mentor to others and help them achieve their full potential.
Giving artists the opportunity to own and distribute their songs to all digital platforms for FREE. This will help them to upload their song because I know how upcoming artists struggle to have a budget for music production and promotion. With OMD (Organic Music Distro.) everything is handled on behalf of the artist - distribute, control and access artist dashboards, while earning royalties with their published works.

I just want you to know that if you are out there and you are being really hard on yourself right now for something that has happened in your music career, this is normal.
